OVERVIEW: 

The Coe at West Village is the first new development financed by a $30 million fund designed to drive "inclusive economic growth" in the city's neighborhoods. Opened in November, it is a 12 unit mixed-use / mixed-income development consisting of studios and one bedroom apartments and two bedroom townhomes with attached garages. It also has over 1,200k square feet of retail. It was developed by Woodborn Partners. The architect is CH Architects and the contractor is Sachse Construction. The project funding includes the Michigan Strategic Planning Community Revitalization Program and tax abatements. Funders include senior debt from Capital Impact Partners and sub-debt and equity from Invest Detroit and JPM Chase’s Neighborhood fund.

OVERVIEW: 

The Scott at Brush Park is a former Brownfield site just North of downtown Detroit which hadn't been developed in over 40 years. Currently under development, it is a 199 unit mixed-use  development consisting of studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments. It also has over 14k square feet and a 326 vehicle parking garage. It is being developed by Broder Sachse Real Estate Services, Inc. and Woodborn Partners. The architect is Neumann/Smith Architecture and the contractor is Sachse Construction. The project funding includes Brownfield Tax Credits, Tax Incentive Financing, and Michigan Strategic Planning Community Revitalization Program. Funders include senior debt from Fifth Third Bank and sub-debt from Invest Detroit and JPM Chase’s Neighborhood fund through Capital Impact Partners.
